Adam Wheaton

Adam began working for Tyree Ag in July 2023 as our seed sales manager. He is from Lewis, KS, and has lived in the area his entire life. Adam earned his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness degree from Kansas State University. Previously, Adam worked on his family's operation and owned a hay business where he swathed, raked, stacked, and hauled all types of hay. He then was the facility manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions in Kinsley. He and his wife, Lacey, have two kids: Steven and Natalie. In his free time, he loves going to Wanoka to ride the sand dunes. Adam enjoys working in agriculture because of the changing technology and trying to make things more efficient and profitable in a timely manner year in and year out. Adam likes working for Tyree Ag because the staff is knowledgeable and continuously educates themselves on new materials. Everyone pitches in and helps whenever it is needed. He likes working for a family business and that they are ready to serve their customers.
