Tyree Ag Named 2016 Extension Appreciation Award Recipient

On Tuesday, November 27, Tyree Ag was awarded the 2016 Edwards County Extension Appreciation Award at the annual extension meeting in Kinsley. Garrett Reiss, a 4-H Youth PDC Extension Council member and Tyree Ag employee, accepted the award on behalf of Tyree Ag.

Extension Appreciation Award

The 2016 Edwards County Extension Appreciation Award is awarded to Tyree Ag. Tyree Ag has been a generous supporter of Extension in Edwards County since their inception.
Tyree Ag has been a supporter of the Edwards County Leadership Enhancement Series (ECLES) both financially and attending the leadership classes, the agriculture program contributing to the wheat and milo plots, to the 4-H program and the Edwards County Fair as generous contributors.
To Tim and paige, and their staff at Tyree Ag, we appreciate your time and efforts in supporting K-State Research and Extension in Edwards County. So many of our programs are better because of your involvement. We thank you so very much!

Tyree Ag is proud to contribute to Edwards County K-State Research and Extension and Edwards County 4-H. We believe education is very important at all ages and we look forward to contributing in the years to come.

 

The Edwards County Leadership Enhancement Series (ECLES) - This leadership class sponsored by Extension graduated eight members this year. Class members were Ricky Cruz, Alisha Heyen-Craft, William King, Todd Pray, Derek Puthoff, Kristine Puthoff, Victoria Rodriguez, and Zach Townsend. Members met monthly to discuss leadership in the community, at work, and in politics. There were 5 class sessions and a trip to Topeka. Tyree Ag employee, Kristine Puthoff, graduated in this year's class. Previous Tyree Ag employee ECLES graduates include Tonya Taylor, JimBob Bowman, and Paige Tyree.
