National 4-H Week : Tonya Taylor

Tonya Taylor is the office manager at the Kinsley location and has been involved as a 4-H'er and now has 2 children actively members of Edwards County 4-H and one who will be enrolling soon. Tonya grew up in Edwards County and was a part of the Northern Star 4-H club for 12 years, where she participated in the beef, sewing, and foods projects. Tonya enjoys the memories she made while attending Rock Springs 4-H Camp and takes pride in attributing her public speaking and parliamentary procedure abilities to the 4-H program.

Tonya's family currently is very active in Edwards County 4-H and are or have been enrolled in the following projects: bucketcalf, welding, shooting sports, wood working, foods, photography, dog, and rocketry. Her two boys, Levi and Luke, have attended 4-H camp and YAC trips, as well as the Kansas State Fair, state archery shoot, and state BB gun shoot. The kids really enjoy volunteering with their club at the Palace Theatre in Kinsley and helping with the annual food drive around the holidays. We can't wait to see what her daughter Laci will bring to Edwards County 4-H!

Tonya's husband, Brian, was also involved in 4-H growing up in Illinois and is currently the Archery Coach for the county.

Thank you Tonya for sharing your 4-H story in honor of National 4-H Week! Check back tomorrow to see more from Tyree Ag employees!
